“I was a babysitter and mother's helper from the age of ten up, but my first 'grown-up' job was as a weekend receptionist at a Real Estate Office.”
Where do you draw inspiration/creativity in your life?
“I draw a lot of inspiration from other makers, creatives, and entrepreneurs. I love finding growth in collaboration and joy in fostering great relationships.”
About Frenchie Coffee
How did the idea of starting Frenchie Coffee begin?
“My husband and I thought we were just watching an episode of The Profit, but as we learned the story of the coffee roaster featured on the show, we were captivated. By 2015, we established a coffee company ourselves! Inspired by our beloved French bulldogs, Phoebe and Sherlock, we launched our own handcrafted, small-batch roasting business and named it Frenchie Coffee Roasters.”

Live Kitsap
Out of town guests are coming for the weekend. What is the most important thing you share with them about Kitsap? Where do you absolutely have to take them?
“We enjoy going to Poulsbo for fresh pastries from Sluy's, coffee at Cafe Cocina and some local shopping. If we decide to go anywhere overnight, we enjoy staying at the Inn at Port Ludlow. They have an excellent restaurant and a fun golf course.”
Thrive in Kitsap
Where are your favorite place(s) to get outside. What do you do when you go?
“To get outside, we love to take the kids bike riding at South Kitsap Regional Park. I also love going out to Hansville and spending time at Point No Point. I have lots of really special childhood memories there and love to pass that on to my children.”
