kingston waterfront
Kingston’s main drag seems to be dedicated to places to enjoy food and drink. As HWY 104 winds down to its conclusion at the Kingston-Edmonds WSF terminal, it becomes a super cute waterfront lane that is lined with pubs, shops, restaurants, cafes, and breweries - perfect for a stroll.
Hansville
At the northern tip of the Kitsap Peninsula, there’s no better time to visit Hansville than on a sunny day, when the water sparkles, cruise ships dot the horizon and shore birds dart along the water’s edge.
The community is tiny, but there are ample recreation activities, including hiking, biking, fishing, and birding at Foulweather Bluff, Norwegian Point Park, Skunk Bay Lighthouse, and Point No Point Lighthouse and Park - the largest explorable shoreline in Hansville with 60+ acres of undeveloped saltwater access, including the historic lighthouse, and the nearby light keepers' housing which is now available as a vacation rental.
cbs nuts
A small, local business that puts Kingston on the map is CB’s Nuts. Using the biggest and freshest peanuts grown in the US and a unique roasting process that involves infusing sea salt and water directly through the shell of the peanut, you’ll find yourself daydreaming about eating CB’s peanuts. Slow roasted, small batches, and a portion of every sale is donated to the Beecher’s Foundation, supporting a mission they live out with every small batch.
sourdough willy’s
This relatively new joint is crafting perfect pizzas from their world famous 120 year old sourdough starter! SW is serving up Sicilian, New York, and Detroit style pizzas and has plenty of beers to wash them down!
Kingston ale house
Smoked wings, grilled salmon, coconut prawns, chicken piccata, fried green beans… is your mouth watering yet? The Kingston Ale House is a tried and true public institution at this point, always ready with good service and great food.
downpour brewing
Legit craft brews in a casual, homey little brewpub! Everyone raves about the amazing service and locals know this is a perfect little place to tuck into for a pint or a flight!
