I just truly love expressing myself. I grew up doing every choir and play Bremerton School District offered, but I didn’t start painting until I was 30. I have been a make up artist since I was 18, so expressing myself through color is something that comes naturally. Painting connected a lot of dots for me, it kind of bridges my love for color, and my desire to put my voice into the world.
31 years! I moved to Kitsap when I was about 1 and lived there my entire life. Although I have recently moved to just outside Kitsap and reside in Belfair now, a lot of my life is very much centered around Kitsap County.
I grew up on Rocky Point, it’s a great area to grow up. We were close to Kitsap Way, and the highway to Silverdale but only a 5-10 min walk to some rad secret little views like Phinney Bay.
I really enjoy taking myself on a drive to listen to music and enjoy the views that surround us. I love hitting the backroads on Tracyton and cruising to Silverdale. Some of the most breath taking views of the water and mountains.
I love what they are doing at Saboteur Bakery in Manette. Don’t go in with a plan, just know every single thing is delicious. That being said, if you see cheese pizza, get it.
It’s early, I’d love to pop by Saboteur for a coffee and croissant! Perfectly crunchy and soft. Flaky and buttery. It’s really ridiculous.
Truly everything, it’s such a special place with such a beautiful energy. I can’t imagine growing up without the ability to get lost in the forest and see the ocean in the same afternoon. The people and community in Kitsap are awesome, warm and welcoming. I’ve always been proud to be from Bremerton.
